Description

Join NatureWatch and the Friends of Brisbane Ranges to celebrate 10 years!

Did you know we've been monitoring the health of grass-trees in the Brisbane Ranges National Park since 2007?

The Victorian National Parks Association and Friends of Brisbane Ranges invite you to join us to celebrate our achievements and remember where NatureWatch began.

Listen to presentations about our special grass-trees, and a report back on what we’ve discovered about the impacts of Phytophthora cinnamomi. Then, join us for a short bushwalk to discover the beauty of the 'Brissies'. There will also be family-friendly activities for our younger visitors.

Where: Stony Creek Picnic Area, Brisbane Ranges National Park.
When: Sunday 10 December 2017, 11am-2pm.
Contact: Christine Connelly, NatureWatch Coordinator via naturewatch@vnpa.org.au or phone the VNPA office on 03 9341 6500.

We're excited to see old friends and new - we welcome all who have contributed to the project over the years, as well as new-comers who'd like to learn more. Families are most definitely welcome.

This is a free event and lunch will be provided by the VNPA. Registration is required.

Our partners and supporters

Our grass-tree monitoring project is a partnership between the Victorian National Parks Association and the Friends of Brisbane Ranges, with support from Parks Victoria and Deakin University. In 2017 the project is funded by the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority.
