Description

Australian house prices continue to fall in early 2018 following a weak stretch over summer. According to findings released by CoreLogic, property prices in Australia have witnessed a 1% fall nationwide in March 2018 and a flat performance in the rental market, coinciding with a rapid decline in the number of overseas purchasers as well as continuous downturns in auction clearance rates.

In light of the tighter credit environment, the eventual prospect of higher interest rates and ongoing housing affordability constraints, we have invited some industry leaders to share insights into current and future property price trends.
