Born in sunny Brisbane, Lou Endicott is an artist now residing in Melbourne. She has been a professional illustrator for over a decade.For over twenty five years Lou has worked as a specialist classroom teacher, in-school guest artist, youth theatre coach and visual arts workshops facilitator with all ages. Originally trained as an actor, Lou is also a professional public speaker and appeared as a guest speaker at Top Designs Education forums at the Melbourne Museum in 2024 & 2025 speaking to hundreds of year twelve design students and teachers about her creative career.Lou is also known across Melbourne as a highly sought after window artist - hand-drawing intricate artworks on local shopping precincts, libraries, council chambers and more. She has also created illustrations for public works, branding, product campaigns and children’s books.When Lou isn’t creating or teaching art, she works as a presenter/Learning Facilitator at the Melbourne Museum Working with school groups and the general public on programs and events.Lou aims to bring joy and wonder to everyone she meets in her sessions. She desires to create safe, reflective and supportive workshops that instil confidence in her learners and leave them with new skills to explore more on their own. Highly inspired by the natural world, Lou is drawn to share her own mindful practices through creative events and workshops.
