Cast

Biography

Cast is a rock band from Liverpool, England. Formed back in 1992, it cultivated a huge following and quickly reached international success.

The original band members that still make up the band’s lineup include vocalist and guitarist John Power, guitarist Liam “Skin” Tyson, and drummer Keith O’Neill. The newest member is bassist Jay Lewis, who joined the band in 2015 after the former member Peter Wilkinson (bass and backing vocals) left the band.

Cast was formed during the Britpop movement, so their music represents a much brighter and catchier alternative rock. The band received huge critical acclaim during its early years, but they split in 2001, following not-so-good reactions from critics regarding their album Beetroot.

Fortunately for all their dedicated fans, they reunited in 2010, and the wait was more than worth it. Their outstanding performances led to Cast being labelled “The Who of the ‘90s”. They received praise from various artists, including Noel Gallagher of Oasis, who said that watching Cast perform live was like a “religious experience.”

Cast keeps releasing new remarkable singles and albums, and they constantly tour the world, showcasing their amazing live-performance abilities. Be sure to catch them live when you can, as they’re certain to exceed your wildest expectations. Get tickets today.
