Sustainable Homes and Communities Program

Darebin and Banyule City Councils run free and low cost events for members of the community, businesses and local organisations.

Where are Darebin and Banyule?

The City of Darebin is located in the inner north of
Melbourne, Victoria and stretches from the suburbs of Northcote and Fairfield out to the traditional
middle ring suburbs of Reservoir and Bundoora.

The 21 suburbs of Banyule City lie between 7 and 21 kilometres north-east of central Melbourne, and stretch from Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Macleod and Rosanna to parts of Greensborough. The Yarra River runs along the City’s south border while the west is defined by Darebin Creek.
