Communities for Children Inala to Ipswich - Mission Australia

Mission Australia Communities for Children (CfC) is an early intervention and prevention program that aims to improve the development, health and wellbeing of children aged 12 and under by addressing local needs and encouraging community participation. The approach to supporting children and families is collaborative and targeted. Several organisations work together to start local children on a positive path and build a stronger, safer community through services such as: Literacy events and activities Family fun days Mobile playgroups Positive parenting programs Home visits Healthy lifestyle education School-readiness support CfC is an Australian Government initiative funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.
