Central Eastern Business Association Inc

CEBA's Role in the Community

CEBA has a clear focus of assisting members to be successful in their business endeavours, and a wider role in the general community.

  • Provide business and networking opportunities in a friendly environment.
  • Promote reciprocal trade and communication within the central eastern metropolitan region.
  • Facilitate professional development through the exchange of business knowledge between members.
  • Provide information on industry and legislative issues that impact on business.
  • Assist members where advice and guidance are needed.
  • Act as a representative body in matters of interest to members.
  • Be active in matters that improve our community and business environment.

On a broader scale this group of business men and women works closely with the Local Authorities in activities that benefit all of our community. Such things as the Australia Day Bush Breakfast, the annual charity golf day which helps St Vincent de Paul together with the Salvation Army, and the LeadOn Bayswater project are just some examples.

The Association also supports a local primary school with a student scholarship and resources donation. Trading locally has real benefits for the community, with successful enterprising businesses ultimately providing employment opportunities for people within our neighbourhoods. We encourage businesses and consumers alike to seek their products or services from within our locality.
