OSDC Conference Days (5, 6, 7 December)
The Open Source Developers Conference is a not-for-profit conference covering all aspects of open source technology - from software and systems to open data. For the past 8 years OSDC has been held across Australia, hosting talks by leaders and luminaries of Open Source Technology.
OSDC 2012 will be held across three days, consist of three tracks and will be held at the University of Technology Sydney, Broadway Campus from the 5th to the 7th of December.
CMS Expo Day (4 December)
The conference will also host the CMS expo on the 4th of December. This day plans to showcase and discuss open source content management systems such as Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, Django, Moodle, etc
We have managed to build a team of people for the expo day that are key organisers in the Open CMS Communities. The day will be based around some skill sharing tutorials, case studies and talks from leading contributors in Open Source CMS projects.
What does a OSDC Wednesday, OSDC Thursday or OSDC Friday ticket proide me with?
An OSDC Wednesday, OSDC Thursday, OSDC Friday ticket is for one conference day only. These have been created to help people attend who can not take the full time off work, or might want to attend to see a specific talk. The Wednesday ticket does not give you ticket to the dinner.
What will an OSDC Ticket provide me with?
If you purchase a full OSDC Conference (early bird included) then you automatically gain entrance into the CMS Expo Day.
What does a CMS Expo Ticket provide me with?
If you purchase a CMS Expo Day you gain enterance to the Wednesday of the Conference and Networking Drinks on the 4th of December only.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
You must be 18+ to attened the Dinner and Drinks Networking night but any age can attend the conference.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The Conference is located next to Central Station in Sydney and will take about 5minutes to walk from the station to the event
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring your Laptop and a Power Socket if you want to hack away as there wil be a wireless network.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No we will have you lised on our registration list.
What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds unless unforseen circumtances prevent you from attending such as a medical reason, if this occurs please contact the organisers on firstname.lastname@example.org
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No, you can not transfer a ticket unless as mentioned unforseen circumstances such as medical arises, and you will need to contact the organisers on email@example.com
