Isobel Blackthorn's first book was the devilishly naughty and hilarious memoir, Lovesick. Now her first collection of short stories - All Because of You - portrays themes of betrayal, grief, hope and love in distinctly Australian settings. Dark, poignant and witty, eight uncompromising stories depict the responses of men and women confronting the essence of their lives.
Playing piano since she was a child, Elizabeth Blackthorn is currently studying jazz improvisation at Victorian College of the Arts. Her Gothic Jazz compositions are a perfect backdrop to the darker stories in the collection.
