Training Series: Using the Frameworks for High Quality Practice in Family Day Care

• Registration is for the Training Series (both Session 1 & Session 2), resource kit & light lunch

About the Series:

Community Child Care has been contracted by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) to develop a resource along with a two-part ‘train the trainer’ series for Family Day Care (FDC) Coordination Unit staff.

The resource focuses on the links between the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Framework for School Age Care (FSAC), including planning, pedagogy and reflective practices in FDC.

Who should the FDC service send to these sessions?

The training is for coordination unit staff responsible for training their FDC educators in relation to the VEYLDF, EYLF and FSAC. This resource & training series has been designed for the Family Day Care (FDC) sector. Only FDC services are eligible to attend this training.

Each service can register 2 people to attend the sessions with the option to add additional staff onto a waiting list. If the session is not fully booked 3 days prior to the delivery date, people on the waitlist will be contacted (in order of registration) and offered a place.

Cost

$69 per person for the Resource & Training Series (Session 1 & 2) – light lunch included.
