Event Details

Just in time for autumn, this month's talk'n'tea will host local mycophile Alicia Boyd, who will demonstrate how to grow delicious oyster mushrooms at home and will introduce the fascinating fungi kingdom.

Find out about the special role of underrated fungi. How do they fit into ecosystems like your garden - what roles do they play? How do you grow them to eat?

Share a cuppa and a sense of delight and wonder learning more about this strange and fundamental branch of our natural world.

All materials, including cups of tea and a biscuit or two are provided.
