Event Details

Sustainable Sydney 2030 is the City of Sydney Council’s long term plan to create a more sustainable city. Involving the largest community and stakeholder consultation process ever undertaken the City worked with Sydney’s leading architectural, planning and environmental thinkers to transform the way Sydneysiders live and work. The plan builds on the legacy of previous planning outcomes and includes a number of it’s own visionary projects.  From the implementation of the Green Infrastructure Plan to the transformation of George Street into a light rail and pedestrian boulevarde a number of Sustainable Sydney 2030 projects are well underway.

Glenn Wallace is Special Projects Program Manager working in the City Design Unit at the City of Sydney Council responsible for translating the Sustainable Sydney 2030 vision into projects. Involved in the development of Sustainable Sydney 2030 Glenn is currently working on the Eora Journey Recognition project, one of the plans major cultural projects.
