Event Details

Aquaponics combines principles of aquaculture and hydroponics to grow fresh tasty vegetables and herbs in a small area. This 4-part course will explorethe basics of aquaponics, a variety of systems made largely from rescued materials, as well as giving you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience building a compact system suitable for a balcony or small backyard.

During the course participants will work together to build an aquaponics system which can be replicated at home. No previous experience is necessary but a willingness to learn will be required.
