Introduction & Overview
Through the application of the auditing and assurance standards relating to SMSF audit planning and risk assessment, we guarantee that many auditors will be able to significantly reduce the amount of substantive testing undertaken, as well as increasing their level of compliance.
This session will take attendees throught the planning and risk assessment process and show the impact of this process on both the substantive testing procedures and the extent of testing required in response to the assessed level of risk.

About the Presenter – Ashley Course
Ashley is the Director of ARC Super, which specialises in the provision of SMSF audit, technical and training services. Ashley has extensive experience designing and developing audit software and programs and for the last nine years has trained and developed audit content for the professional accounting bodies and software providers. Ashley’s most recent experience includes being part of ASIC’s SMSF Competency Exam Committee, Treasury’s Stronger Super Committee and the ATO’s Approved Auditor Committee.
