Starting at the ANZAC War Memorial in Hyde Park, Australian Museum volunteer walk leader Ross Pearson OAM, who has just celebrated his 90th birthday,will lead you down Macquarie Street stopping at the buildings and important sites that set the corner stones and foundations of this great city. A trip down Macquarie street isn’t complete without a stroll in the beautiful botanic gardens and remember to bring your camera to capture the beauty this city has to offer.

Meet in Hyde Park at the Anzac war memorial at 10am. Access via Museum Station, Liverpool Street entrance. Bring morning tea, lunch, comfortable walking shoes and sun protection.
