Description

Transforming Teaching for Learning Digital Unit - Module 1

UWA staff with a role in teaching and learning are invited to apply for a unit called ‘Transforming Teaching for Learning’ (TTL) offered by the Centre for Education Futures.

The unit is available entirely digitally through the Blackboard LMS (Learning Management System) with optional Collaborate and face-to-face meetings. Completion of the overall learning and assessment portfolio for the unit will constitute credit towards one of the four units that make up UWA’s Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching. TTL consists of three discrete modules that can be taken sequentially or one module at a time with gaps in between.

The modules are free to all eligible staff. Like any formalised program of study, TTL requires a time commitment. Before registering, participants should ensure they have adequate time to commit to completing the modules. The unit is fully online for access at any time, with the activities paced on a week-by-week basis. The study workload is approximately 10 hours per week for all activities and reading, plus approximately 10 hours per module for the assessment tasks. The total hours for the unit, comprising the three modules, is approximately 150 hours.

If you cannot take this module at this time, it will be available again at a later date. Future registration dates will be available at worldclasseducation.uwa.edu.au/education-futures/professional-development/ttl.
