Assisting Teens is a fast growing organisation that focuses on changing thousands of parents and teenagers lives throughout Australia. Our passion is to bring success to the individual person, the family and the community.
Our strategies and approach is based on many years’ experience working with Teens and parents. Our workshop is designed specifically for parents, foster parents, parents to be, teachers, professionals and those wanting to make a massive difference in teenagers lives. The Change Summit is focused on helping achieve not only personal success, but real peace & happiness for the whole family. The results achieved at this event will also have a holistic flow-on effect on the the whole community.

About Nic Marcon
Psychologist, Parent/Youth Mentor, Motivational Speaker, Life Designer,
Nic Marcon is one of Australia's most respected and praised psychologists, expert in adolescent psychology. Passionate about assisting others achieve their dreams, he fosters the strong belief that anyone can change their life with the right guidance and support.
Nic cares in particular about those suffering abuse and trauma, commit self-harm and have suicide ideation. His specialty is helping people to overcome symptoms of anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Nic has also extensive experience in helping individuals with addictions involving alcohol, drugs or gambling ; throughout his career he has worked at a Youth Detoxification Centre for adolescents, in a Maximum Security Prison coordinating the Drug and Alcohol department and at a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre.
He has also worked extensively with teenagers and parents and assisted many families to bond again, help teenagers make good behavioural decisions and regain control in their life and parents not only understand what happens to teenagers and why they think, feel and do the way they do but also how to make changes that help them and their teenagers.
He is the founder and Director of The Marcon Emotional Balance Centres (opened in 2007) and Assisting Teens. They have 3 Centres in Brisbane and currently launching other Centres around the Brisbane area.
Nic is married and the father of 5 children.
