Get your week off to the start it deserves with this Sunday showcase of Melbourne's next generation of talent.
Sunday August 10, 17, 24 and 31 from 2pm
With very special guests:
Benny and The Dukes
Patrick Wilson and the Bare River Queens
Having tested the Sunday atmosphere at The Evelyn back in May, The Max Rudd Band are ready to deliver their Sunday August Residency.
The Max Rudd Band performed their debut album to 3,500 Xavier Rudd fans at Melbourne Zoo Twilights in February 2014, and ever since have had audiences talking at Melbourne's premier venues.
It is a performance with its very own musical soundscape, shaped by the imminent voices of their most important influences, from Paul Simon's Graceland, New Orleans' Dr. John and Dave Matthews Band. Their show is packed with energy and a passion for music that is transferred to the audience with skill and style, backboned by the Rudd brothers, who have been a formidable musical alliance for more than ten years.
Joining them on stage are very special guests, the rare and powerful Benny and The Dukes, alongside Patrick Wilson and The Bare River Queens, with their charming folk-country songbook.
