This year, the Sydney Easter Parade (SEP) team has come together and agree on a very timely theme for Sydney Easter Parade and Family Day 2015 -

"Choose Hope Sydney"

Over the past few months, we have seen many tragic events that have brought sadness, tears and fear to our city and nation. The terror on our city can either break us apart, or pull us all together.

We want to declare hope and speak life upon our city. Sydney Easter Parade and Family Day 2015 is a call to our city and every one of us to choose hope, and that source of hope is in our Lord Jesus Christ.

FAQs

What can I expect in this event?

Sydney Easter Parade and Family Day is a fun-filled family-friendly event to celebrate the true meaning of Easter - the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The event starts with a lively and colourful parade through the streets of Sydney CBD, and is followed by a celebration and festival back at Hyde Park. You can expect worship together in open air with thousands of other Christians right at the heart of Sydney, many children's activities such as jumping castle and face painting, and adults' entertainment from various performers and church bands.

If you are into family-friendly event that is alcohol-free, fun, and festive, then you should definitely register and attend.

Why do I need to register?

You register to join us in the fun-filled family-friendly celebration. You don't necessarily need to join us in the parade if you don't want to (there will be limited space for the paraders anyway).

You can also be part of the crowd to watch the parade and then join us in the celebration in Hyde Park after the parade.

By registering, you'll help us with knowing how many people we should be expecting on the day. Help us with organising the logistics and better understanding of the demographics so we can do better events in the future.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No, there is no age limit to the event. However, everyone at the age of 13 and above would need to register online (email address will be required). You don't need to register as a group - simply register as individual, and choose in the Quantity the total number of adults and children that are 13 years old and above.

If you are registering for others and someone does not have any email address, feel free to use your own email address to register for them.

You do not need to register children aged 12 and below, but please let us know how many you will be bringing on the day (you will be asked this question on the registration form).

Can I register as a group?

Yes, you have 2 options: to create a new group, or to join an existing group.

If you create a new group, you can then register for yourself only, or at the same time register for others within your group. You can also then tell others to register and choose to join an existing group.

You can also choose to join an existing group - simply search for your group name and join.

Will you share my personal details with anyone?

No, we only collect your personal information to help us with organising the event. For example, we need to understand the number of people expected to come to organise logistics. Your age and address information will be used to understand demographics of attendees to the event.

We will not share your personal information with anyone outside of the Sydney Easter Parade Team, the organiser of this event.

Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Feel free to contact us on contact@sydneyeasterparade.com.au

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you don't have to bring your printed ticket. You do, however, need to have your QR code saved on your mobile ready to be scanned on the day.
