Engagement Opportunity

The Department for Industry and Skills is hosting targeted workshops for stakeholders to provide input to

  • the Subsidised Training List (STL4.0)

  • opportunities to stimulate growth in apprentice and trainee commencements in South Australia to inform the Department's negotiations with the Australian Government for the Skilling Australians Fund (SAF).

Purpose

We are seeking your input to the Subsidised Training List (STL) to provide:

  • greater transparency of our decision-making

  • strengthened industry alignment

  • increased contestability of subsidised courses and places.

In addtion, we are consulting with you on the proposed approach to implementing the Skilling Australians Fund to:

  • identify opportunities for increasing apprenticeship and traineeship commencements

  • understand industry’s perspective on the supports required to increase commencements and completions.

Get involved

Your feedback during the inital engagement phase from 10 to 17 April 2018 will feed into the investment planning process and will be considered in the development of the draft STL4, which will be tested with stakeholders at this workshop.
