Description

Free tea & coffee is availabe in the kitchen area, please bring along snacks if necessary & lunch if you are planning on going to the park afterwards.

This training course is specifically tailored to deliver an enjoyable and enlightening course which is a great way to introduce primary school students to the importance of first aid.

Topics covered in the course include:

  • Introduction and principles of first aid
  • How to call for an ambulance
  • Dealing with an unconscious casualty
  • Recovery position demonstration and practice
  • Management of external bleeding
  • How to treat a burn

The training sessions run for 60 minutes. There's tea & coffee available to parents. Please bring snacks or morning tea.

Students will receive a certificate of completion and other helpful first aid information.

All families in Western Australia who are home educating their children are welcome to join us at all our events, you do not have to be a member of Homeschool WA - however, on the odd occasion where places are limited, families that are registered to Homeschool WA will be given preference.
