It's at night when the freaks come out to play!

Running Scared is an after-dark 8km run contaminated with fear filled freaky obstacles. Make your way through a challenging course of 20+ obstacles and experiences including the popular House of Horrors maze.

Beware of things that go bump in the night!

Run, crawl, jump, climb, wade, dodge and scream as the undead hunt you down.

This is not for the faint-hearted!

Be prepared to have the sh*t scared out of you. If scary movies have you hiding under the blankets or darkness sees you running for the light, then Running Scared might not be for you.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You have to be at least 12yrs of age to enter Running Scared. If you are aged between 12-17yrs you will be required to have a parent or guardian sign your waiver during check-in at the event.You must show photo ID when you check-in at the registration desk at the event.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is currently no shuttle bus to the venue; however you can reach the venue by train to Penrith station and then by taxi (approx. 10 minute drive each way). Parking is available at the venue for $10 per vehicle. For driving instructions to the venue click here.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes you will need to bring a printed ticket or your mobile ticket for staff to scan and check you in for your event. For more information on how to access your ticket click here.
