This workshop provides people who work in dementia care with knowledge and skills to engage in reminiscing and creation of a life story book with a person with dementia, with the support of their families and friends.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn strategies to encourage and support reminiscing
- Identify key points for creating a life story, and
- Identify opportunities for using life stories as a person centred communication tool

Anyone working in aged or community care, health care or community services who would like to improve their interaction with people with dementia.
