ABOUT LAURA TINGLE

Laura Tingle is Political Editor for the Australian Financial Review. Based in Canberra, Laura has over 30 years experience as a reporter covering markets, economics and politics, winning two Walkley awards and the Paul Lyneham award for Excellence in Press Gallery Journalism. Laura has also written two Quarterly Essays on the fluctuating relationships between politicians, public servants and the pubic – 2012’s Great Expectations and last year’s Political Amnesia.

ABOUT THE CRANLANA PROGRAMME ALUMNI SPEAKER SERIES

The annual Alumni Speaker Series presents lectures by eminent thinkers from diverse backgrounds exploring their perspectives on the good society and contemporary issues. The intimate events include an extensive Q&A, allowing alumni the opportunity to engage with the speakers and their ideas.
