Volunteer training sessions will give you an essential understanding of your tasks and responsibilities on the day and will ensure that you feel confident for the event. As well as learning about your role, it’s a great opportunity to meet the team and some of your fellow volunteers.
Volunteer training is mandatory for the following Oxfam Trailwalker volunteer roles:
- Checkpoint Coordinators
- Assistant Checkpoint Coordinators
- Check In Operators
- Trail Markers
- Sweep Teams
Don’t see your role in the list above? You do not need to attend training and we will send you all the information you need by email. See you at the event!
Training will be held on Sunday 14 September at Spacecubed, 45 St Georges Terrace, Perth.
Session times are as follows:
10:00am – 11:30am Checkpoint Coordinators & Assistant Checkpoint Coordinators
10:00am – 11:00am Check In Operators
2:00pm – 3:30pm Trail Markers and Sweep Teams
Please try to arrive ten minutes before your session time so we can start on time.
