NACCHO NIDAC Illicit Drug Summit 2014

The Summit has been organised by NACCHO in response to a request from members to hold a one day event to discuss the impact of illicit drugs (in particular ice) use by clients and evidence based interventions available for services to utilise in responding to this issues relating to this use.
The Summit will include:
- Presentations by NIDAC members on: the initial findings from the NIDAC/NACCHO Survey on Ice; the National Drug Strategy; and amphetamine type stimulants
- Workshops on identifying the issues and concerns facing AMSs and ways of responding to these issues.
The Summit is a non funded event with your travel and accommodation costs the responsibility of the organisation in which you represent or at your own cost.

It is entrusted to represent the needs and interests of Aboriginal health on behalf of its 150 + members in the national arena.
