The 'Melbourne Accelerator Program' is an exciting initiative of the Melbourne School of Engineering to support motivated students, staff, and alumni who seek to translate their ideas into scalable solutions that meet the needs of society. Full details of the program available here.
At the participant information night, we will be going through the program in detail: outlining eligibility, the selection process, what's on offer, and what's expected for those involved. There will be ample time for questions at the end, as well as information about some upcoming workshops designed to help you get started in entrepreneurship.
You must register to attend, doors open at 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Tea and biscuits will be provided.
Notes from the information night will be made available via the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP) website http://map.eng.unimelb.edu.au/

Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP)
MAP is the leading entrepreneurship program in Australia. Our vision is to enhance the culture of entrepreneurship.
MAP’s goal is to support entrepreneurs of all stages and accelerate the growth of world-class startups.
MAP is proudly supported by the University of Melbourne and since its inception in 2012, it has evolved into a program that hosts a range of public events, workshops and feeder programs to help up-skill and connect entrepreneurs of all stages. Top startups are awarded Entrepreneurial Fellowships and gain access to the MAP Startup Accelerator where they receive $20,000 funding, office space, mentoring and travel to Sydney and Silicon Valley.
MAP alumni have raised over $10.0 million in funding, generated almost 80 jobs and $3.5 million in revenue since June 2012.
In June 2014 MAP was ranked number 13 globally from over 300 university business incubators surveyed from 67 countries by the UBI Index.
From those who just have an idea, to those who have already raised funding, MAP provides the networks and expertise to accelerate the growth of world-class businesses.
