What is meditation?
Meditation is the gradual cultivation of awareness of yourself and how we behave and live in the world. This is called mindfulness - it is being in the present moment.
With this attentiveness and awareness we are more able and skilled to make natural, true and honest responses and reactions, and this has a positive flow on effect for ourselves, and all around us.
The session covers:
PRESENTER - Judith Crowe has studied Transcendental and Buddhist meditation and has been meditating for 20 years. Judith has been teaching Tai Chi for 15 years at the Moving Meditation Tai Chi Centre as well as regular programs at the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Recovery Program and corporate and community groups. Judith has a degree in Health Science, is Director of Corporate Chillout and is a member of the Tai Chi Association of Australia (TCAA) and the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA).
