Dr Peter Eastaugh is a Paediatrician who has been working in Shepparton since 1981 in Consultant General Paediatric Practice, Community and Forensic Paediatrics. He is also interested in Child Abuse Prevention, Health Promotion and Preventative Medicine, Paediatrician and Medical Student Education, Community Child Health, Clinical Epidemiology.
Peter has combined considerable private and public practice with his clinical teaching roles previously as Honorary Senior Lecturer, Melbourne University Department of Rural Health (2000-2007) and also Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital. Peter has received the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Awards for Excellence in Mentoring Rural Category (2008); Victorian Rural Doctors’ Awards-Outstanding Contribution to Rural Communities (2008); Robin Clarke Memorial Award 2008 “Making a Difference with Children, Young People and Families”
