Hoarding: understanding behaviour and responses

Understanding and working with hoarding behaviours. This one-day workshop is designed to provide
information for appropriately assessing risk, identifying referral and intervention pathways, and discussing the issue of hoarding with clients and other services. The presentation will include case specific learning and a panel discussion with local practitioners.
This collaborative training session will be facilitated by Senior Lecturer in Social Work; Dr. Jennifer Lehmann and funded by DHS’s Support for High Risk Tenancies (SFhRT).
When & Where
Housing Justice supports tenants in the Loddon Mallee. Housing Justice provides a free and confidential service inlcuding case management to assist clients in public housing to address barriers to their tenancy and avoid homelessness. Housing Justice also provides advice, information and assistance to tenants about rights, rersponsibilities, the Victorian Civil and Administration Tribunal (VCAT) and assists to negotiate with landlords and real estate agents.
