Event Details

After a fantastic response to the last parenting session on schoolwork, Clinical Psychologist, Dr Judith Locke, is offering a 2-hour parenting session to parents of students at Brigidine College. Judith uses latest research and clinical experience to show positive and effective strategies parents can use to maintain good communication with their teenager, and help them become more confident and capable in their teenage and young adult years.

        The workshop

  • discusses common challenging behaviour exhibited by teenagers, such as moodiness and anger,  and gives parents strategies they can use to  manage these issues and maintain family harmony
  • offers techniques to maintain a connection with teens now and as they start to become adults
  • offers solutions to parents to encourage teenagers to feel confident and cope better with the typical ups and downs of late teen and early adult life.

This workshop is being delivered on one night:

Thursday, 28 August, 2014

6.30 – 9.00 pm at Brigidine College

This session is for Brigidine College Parents only - if you are not a Brigidine parent you can contact Judith Locke about other parenting courses you can attend at other locations.
