Description

The aim of this workshop is to provide information and assistance to employees at the workplace who feel they have been exposed to unhealthy workplace behaviours for six months or less and will include discussion of case studies and practical activities.

Ever had a bad day? Then it became worse! While each of us are human and act respectfully most of the time, there are occasions where behaviours get out of hand and can result in a breakdown of communication – either between an employer and a worker or between workers.

This session will provide information for employees on:

  • where they can go for help;
  • what negative workplace behaviours are (such as bullying behaviours and conflict);
  • how to respond and manage negative behaviours in the workplace; and
  • individual coping strategies to assist in maintaining physical and psychological health during this stressful time.
