Learn all about the resplendent gardens, public art and fascinating history of Sydney's oldest park on a guided walking tour lead by City of Sydney parks staff. The walking route commencing at the ANZAC Memorial Pool of Reflection will proceed through the various themed gardens and take in the numerous works of public art and water features including the photogenic Archibald Fountain.
The walking route is generally flat and will be accessible to people using mobility aids. Public toilets are available and the park is easily accessible by public transport incluidng the St James and Memorial rail stations and numerous bus routes.
After registering for the event, your name will be on the guest list available with staff at the meeting place - at the base of the steps of the ANZAC Memorial facing the Pool of Reflection.
Please check weather conditions, the event will proceed regardless of the weather. Please be sun smart and bring bottled water - refill stations are available enroute.
