Sustainable food, farmers markets, cooking in season – heard of them but not sure what they’re all about? Join us to get the low-down on eating sustainably. Find out why it’s important (and good for you), how to pick quality food, menu planning, cooking and storing, and more.
Our experts, Food Connect's Julian Lee and Three Blue Ducks' Matt and Grant LaBrooy, will share their tips to kick start your sustainable eating journey. If you’re thinking about greening up your plate, this one is for you!
Facilitated by environmental journalist Sue White, the workshop will give you a feel for the variety of green opportunities that you can bring into your plate. So if you’re thinking about going green or have just started on your sustainable journey, we’d love you to join us.
