Getting started with blended learning (Melbourne)

Please Note: You are welcome to attend by yourself or by subject group. When registering please choose the relevant option. You will need to bring along your Subject Learning Guide (SLG).

This two hour session aims to get you started with developing a blended learning design for your subject. By the end of this Curriculum Design Intensive (CDI) workshop, you will:

• have reviewed the learning outcomes for your subject;
• Discussed and developed teaching and learning strategies for blended learning
• Reviewed the assessment within your student for alignment with your ILOs
• Developed a method for determining which elements of your current curriculum can go 'online';
• Identified basic online tools for 'blending';
• Established how f-2-f components 'blend' from the students' perspective;
• Identified resources available to you in your ongoing work to 'blend' as part of your development plan.
