DON’T LIKE SURPRISES? BE AWARE OF THE ESSENTIAL FBT DEVELOPMENTS.

Following on from a well-received session last year, BDO would like to invite you to our annual Fringe Benefits Tax Planning Session. This seminar is designed to provide you with insight on how recent changes in the FBT space are likely to affect your business, and considerations that could potentially reduce or mitigate your FBT risk exposure.

The presenters will discuss the ongoing hurdles over a range of benefits that are commonly faced by employers. They will also offer solutions to help bridge these gaps, adding value to your current cost saving strategies.

The presenters will cover the following topics:

FBT Update – Recent Developments

  • Recent ATO rulings and cases
  • ATO & Industry consultation meeting updates
  • A focus on:
    • Motor Vehicles
    • Entertainment
    • Demystifying the $300 minor benefit exemption
    • FBT planning, record keeping & declarations
    • Fringe benefits provided to ‘contractors’
  • Updates on ongoing annual FBT rate changes.
