HLTAID004 - Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
Suitable for all educators working in the education and care of children in long day care, family day care, sessional/occasional care and out of school hours care, as well as parents, grandparents and guardians of infants and children.
2 full days, Wednesday 8th October 2014 and Wednesday 15th October 2014
9:00am – 4:30pm
Students must attend both days of training.
Course Content & Structure
All skill development is designed around Australian First Aid Techniques, which are based on guidance from Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines and peak industry bodies.

This qualification satisfies all requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma management.

2.1 Sessions will be cancelled if the minimum number of registrations is not received 7 days prior to the session/series start date.
2.2 Please be sure to register 7 days prior to the session/series start date.
2.3 All training session information is correct at the time of booking. If it is necessary to cancel, relocate or defer a session, you will be notified by phone and email.
2.4 Upon cancellation of a session by Gowrie Victoria a full refund will be offered to the payer. Alternatively, you can transfer your registration to another session or be granted a credit note for use within six months of the date of issue.

2.1 Cancellation of registration by the payer/participant and transfer request: To qualify for a transfer: Notification of cancellation and a request to transfer your registration is require, in writing, at least 7 days prior to the sessions start date. 2.2 Cancellation of registration by the payer/participant and credit note request: To qualify for a credit note: Notification of cancellation and a request for a credit note is required, in writing, at least 7 days prior to the session start date. 2.3 Cancellation of registration by the payer/participant and full refund request. To qualify for a full refund: Notification of cancellation and a request for a full refund is required, in writing, at least 7 days prior to the session start date. 2.4 If the conditions of 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3 are not met, you will not be granted a transfer, credit note or refund.
