DIY Aquaponics Course
Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (EST)
Aquaponics combines principles of aquaculture and hydroponics to grow fresh tasty vegetables and herbs in a small area. This 4-part course will explore the basics of aquaponics and a variety of systems made largely from rescued materials, as well as giving you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience building a compact system suitable for a balcony or small backyard.
During the course participants will work together to build an aquaponics system which can be replicated at home. No previous experience is necessary but a willingness to learn will be required.
Please note that all four sessions are different and build on each other to deliver a wholistic understanding of aquaponics theory and basic construction/application.
Make sure you put all four dates in your diary!
