Training Quality Network - Statewide
The Disability Training Quality Network in Tasmania provides a direct opportunity for service providers to have input into accredited training. The aim is to support Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to deliver training and assessment that meets the needs of the workplace in the context of the NDIS.
It is important that employers take the opportunity to provide structured input into the validation process. This enables RTOs to play their role in strengthening the workforce in terms working safely, effectively, efficiently and in the best interests of the people they support. Further, employees feel more confident and engaged when they are trained in the skills required by their employer.
Activities will include:
- Industry validation and moderation
- Information sharing
- Resource evaluation and development
- Networking opportunities
- Opportunity for peer validation of assessor competence
- Other activity identified by members
The following groups are invited to register as members:
- RTO trainers and assessors
- Service provider representatives with a client-facing role
- Advocacy organisation representatives
- Skills Tasmania stakeholders
- Other interested parties
There is no cost to become a member of the network; you will receive email updates relevant to training and invitations to register for events.
