Amy has over 20 years of vascular access and critical care experience, including ultrasound guided peripheral and central venous access device insertion and management. Amy is passionate about vascular access and is dedicated to education that enhances clinical practice, patient experience and outcome through evidence based approaches.

Overview: Choices & Challenges with Central Venous Access Devices
Types of Central Venous Access Devices including PICCS, Acute CVCs, Dialysis Catheters & Ports, selecting the right device, new technologies with vascular access including impregnated catheters, power injection, ultrasound, safety systems and ambulatory care, the expanding scope of practice with vascular access, optimising health outcomes with central venous access devices through enhanced critical thinking, detection and management of complications with CVADs, management of CVADs, including flushing, assessment, securement and dressings.
