TOPIC: "Where you lead, will they follow?"

Three key approaches for leadership success

SPEAKER: Helen Mac

Australia's Corporate Optimist - creating optimal business performance

CSP, BA(Psych)

As we pull ourselves up from the doom & gloom of the GFC, we need to move beyond “positive thinking” to a much more powerful combination of thought and action. Optimal performance can’t be created with old habits and thinking patterns. We need a fresh approach to boost attitudes and get individuals & teams into productive action that creates better results.

Optimal results come, not from thinking positively, but from the practical application of an Optimistic Approach and an Achievement Mindset, based on three key elements - attitude awareness, activity management and achievement focus.

Helen will cover:
- the negative impact of positive thinking
- why not everybody follows your lead
- the keys to maximising opportunities for yourself and your team

Whether you are a sole operator, business owner or corporate manager, you will get great benefit from this session. Helen’s practical examples and ideas for implementation will show you how to be a better leader and get the best results from all your opportunities.

Helen Macdonald is Australia’s Corporate Optimist, maximizing opportunities and creating optimal performance in organizations of all sizes. With a Bachelor of Psychology followed by decades of experience in working with individual contributors and leaders around the Asia Pacific region, Helen has shown thousands of people how to improve the results in their businesses and their lives.

A Certified Speaking Professional and Past National President of the National Speakers Association of Australia, Helen is an award-winning speaker, trainer and executive coach. She has also authored and contributed to six books, the most recent being “Secrets of Business Builders Exposed”. Her latest venture is the creation of the “Optimism Zone” with a goal of gathering a community of a million Optimists on the planet.
