What is Beers, Blokes & Business?
Beers, Blokes & Business podcast available on iTunes and all good podcast outlets.
Beers, Blokes & Business was borne out of a casual catch up with a few mates who have an entrepreneurial bent that like having a beer and discussing topics around business - marketing, growth, sales, networking, learning and more.
Each week we will dissect a business topic (and a six pack) in their own unique way bring a wealth of business experience from multiple industries.
Industry experience from retail, ecommerce, marketing, sports, hospitality, creative, domains, web development, search engine optimisation, web design, startups and more.
You know those panel shows where they don't really open up and you think a beer would help?
That is exactly what the Beers, Blokes & Business podcast is all about, full strength banter.
Why have a launch?
- We love catching up for a beer and a chat
- We want to hear more stories and topics from you
- We know the owner of Honey Bar (he is one of the Blokes)
- Why not?
What to expect on the night?
We'll run two panels with Q&A sessions diving into various business topics, but the main aim is to get together, network and learn from each other that is why we started BBB podcast.
Who are these Blokes?
Sean Callanan figured the discussions he was having with a few mates over a few beers would make good podcast material as he had caught the podcasting bug with his own podcast Sports Geek Podcast. Each week he grabs a few blokes a six pack of beers and they dissect a business topic with their varied personal experiences.
Steve Vallas will be hosting the BBB launch party at his bar HONEY, former lawyer, taxi driver and dish pig he brings plenty to the BBB podcast.
Steve Sammartino or Samma as he is known is a whirling dervish of marketing and start up knowledge we just wind him up and let him go.
Jim Stewart has been working on the internets so long he knows more about Google than you can google.
Josh Rowe known for attending every networking event in Melbourne unfortunately won't be able to attend the launch but his ecommerce knowledge has been invaluable to the BBB podcast, no doubt will be contributing via Twitter.
James Noble is the creative director of the BBB podcast from Carter Digital he designed the BBB logo and brings a wealth of knowledge from the design industry.
Luke McCormack from Flippa is the young buck with experience that belies his age working at Delloitte, hive and haul and now Flippa.
