KINDKIDS PROJECT invites you to a nourishing, experiential and informative afternoon of Mindfulness-Based Self-Care at the warm and intimate LifePod Venue. The LifePod is an original sandstone building which used to be a haybarn. When you step into this candle lit studio you'll easily feel your body and mind relax and unwind.
During the afternoon you will be offered practical methods and tools to assist you to skillfully care for yourself, resourcefully attend to challenges, foster positive connections with others and cultivate an appreciation for your life.

KindKids Project offers Personal Development/Health programs that introduce Mindfulness-based kindness skills to students, parents and teachers. The KindKids program is informed by the most up to date scientific studies with research pointing to a wealth of benefits including: enhanced happiness, effective stress management, sustainable performance, improved impulse control, increased optimism and empathy. Our program is inspired by mindfulness programs being run in over 2000 schools around the globe and the skills taught have been trialled with thousands of teachers and students.
Rachael Fisher is a qualified teacher and has been involved in the field of education since 1993. She has spent the last 8 years researching the science behind time-tested methods such as Mindfulness and cultivating her own practices.
Rachael founded KindKids Project in 2010, with the aspiration of bringing mindfulness-based kindness tools for wellbeing to schools and communities. Her intention is to develop inspirational techniques and exercises, to assist young people to positively relate to their inner world of emotions and thoughts and become courageous choice-makers.
Rachael also feels a deep connection to Earth-loving Indigenous cultures. She is passionate about drawing on the wisdom and beauty of nature to create nourishing practices that inspire youth to care for themselves and become compassionate custodians of the Earth.
