This session looks at what WORKac call Infoodstructure, with a focus on their Brooklyn Case Study. Bushwick and Bedford-Stuyvesant are Brooklyn neighbourhoods that are underserved by supermarkets and suffering from a number of health problems associated with poor diet. We talk with WORKac about their proposal for a new food infrastructure for these districts, designed to eventually spread throughout the entire city, stimulating greater civic well being.
