2014 BROOKES ORATION
The annual oration honours the significant contribution of Sir Wilfred Brookes, grandson of Alfred Deakin, the second Prime Minister of Australia, after whom Deakin University is named.
The Brookes Oration was established by the Deakin Graduate School of Business in 2006 to encourage thoughtful debate about the contribution of corporate Australia in the global community.
This year's oration, The Importance of Ethics - Making Business Good Business, will be delivered by Ms Ita Buttrose, AO OBE, legendary media editor, businesswoman, best selling author, committed community and welfare contributor and 2013 Australian of the Year.
